how compile PID?

hello,
i am writing some report aplication, where i access directly in DB2 without using standart DB2 Content Manager API. In database is itemID, but i need compile PID or find some function, procedure that returns PID.

Have you anybody solved this task?

What you do mean by PID? Product ID? Process ID?
